Hello and welcome to Dog Adventures! My name is Kathy and I’m the dog mom behind Dog Adventures. I'm thrilled that you've stopped by to explore the world through the eyes of my three adventurous rescue pups—Stormy, Zelda, and Luci. This space is all about my love of the outdoors and the joy of enriching my dogs’ lives with fun activities, delicious DIY treats, and the best dog products out there.

Meet My Dogs

Stormy

Stormy is the quintessential All-American mutt. She’s part collie, part pitbull and 100% good girl. Adopted from PetSmart seven years ago, she has been my rock through life's ups and downs. Her endless curiosity makes her the perfect adventure buddy. Whether we're hiking through dense forests or just exploring the local park, Stormy is always ready for the next big adventure

Zelda

Zelda is my gentle soul with a heart of gold. While she may be a bit shy (especially when loud noises are involved) she's the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. Zelda may be timid, but out on the trail, she’s a curious explorer with a love for sniffing out new scents.

Luci

Luci is my little firecracker. When we adopted her she was labeled as a “Feist Mix” and I think that must be because of her personality. Man, she is feisty!! Luci is full of energy and always up for a game of fetch. Her playful nature and spunky attitude bring a lot of joy to my life, and she’s always ready to go when there’s something exciting on the horizon.

Why Dog Adventures

The idea for Dog Adventures came from my desire to share the special bond I have with my rescue dogs and to inspire others to create their own daily adventures with their furry friends. To me, every day with your dog is an adventure

What to Expect on Dog Adventures

I want this blog to be a mix of all the things I love about being a dog owner. You’ll get a peek into our hiking trips, find out which dog products are worth the hype (and which aren’t), and discover some fun ways to keep your dog happy and healthy. Plus, I’ll be sharing some of the everyday moments that make life with Stormy, Zelda, and Luci so special.
